Plein Air Session #3: Sandra Bell takes place on July 25

Sandra Bell has been a beloved artist at Harvest Gold Gallery for a long time; she was first drawn to Western Maine from Wellesley, Massachusetts, in the mid 1990's. Her love for art began at 5 years old, in through the Cleveland Museum of Art Saturday classes for children.

Low and behold, it was never just a childhood phase, it was passion. Her curiosity and creativity drove her to attend college and then art school for a period of time. In addition, she became involved in historical preservation: she collected and traded in antiques, restored old houses, provided interior design and decorating services, and sold suburban residential and country real estate.

Today, her studio is in Center Lovell, Maine, where nature serves as inspiration for her artwork. She fell in love with the area through hiking the mountains, designing vibrant gardens and watching them thrive, and more. She begins each project with her own photography of regional landscapes, coastal objects, and beautiful lake scenes. From there, she brings a canvas to life using oil. Her paintings are known to be bright and colorful, with beautifully captured light and motion.

Harvest Gold Gallery is happy to announce that Sandra Bell will be our next Plein Air artist at 10 AM on July 25, at 1082 Main Street, Lovell, Maine. All are welcome and encouraged to stop by to enjoy the view and watch beautiful art take form! With any questions, call us at 207-925-6502.
