On July 25, 2026, Sandra Bell painted the red oak tree in Harvest Gold Gallery's beautiful front yard, as well as the beautiful view of Kezar Lake. The weather was warm and sunny with a soft breeze, perfect for painting! We are so grateful to all who attended this Plein Air Session!

Sandra Bell’s love for art began at merely five years old. Low and behold, it wasn’t just a childhood phase, it was passion. From taking Cleveland Museum of Art classes for children, to attending art school as a young adult, art has always been a significant part of Sandra’s life.  

Eventually, she was drawn to Western Maine in the mid 1990s after years of travel throughout New England. She immediately fell in love with hiking in the breathtaking mountains, spending time in the diverse forests, days by the lake, and designing vibrant gardens.

But Sandra doesn’t just enjoy nature, she captures its pristine beauty. The environment that surrounds her studio in Center Lovell, Maine, serves as inspiration for her artwork. She begins each project with her own photography of scenes that catch her eye. Her curiosity and creativity drove her to enter the local art scene. She has been a beloved artist here at Harvest Gold Gallery ever since.
