Having resided in Milan, New Hampshire for almost her entire life, Annette Tardiff has says she has been blessed by the endless beauty which abounds in the "Great North Woods." The White Mountains are her playground. Tardiff is an "avid, rather obsessed Kayaker," as soon as the ice is out, she's in from early April until mid-November.
Photo ops are endless inspiration beyond measure for Tardiff, some of which she paints in oil in which she is self-taught. She has learned the art of stained glass from a very well known glass artist, Dawn Becktold. Dawn taught her how to cut and assemble glass in an intense 4 hour session & she was immediately hooked. Dawn's work is spectacular, some of which graces the Lancaster Court House in Lancaster, NH.
"My cathedral is the great outdoors. It's where I feel closest to God, the ultimate artist. I was beyond blessed to have a Mom and Dad who taught their kids to revere nature, to respect & cherish it in every way imaginable to find the peace and serenity it endlessly provides.
"This is Gods Country and I'm thankful to be part of it."
