This is a special 16.75 ct. pink tourmaline from Maine.The stone is a triangle cabochon cut with a rich pink color. The setting is in 14k gold with a bale large enough to slide over most chains or even a strand of pearls or beads.

How do you rescue an octopus?

This is the story of our voyage to the Bahamas. It is a positive narrative; a testimonial to human kindness. We discovered the warmth and hospitality of the Bahamian people. We found a supportive community of fellow boaters. We visited small villages and beached our dinghy on uninhabited islands. We explored caves and snorkeled in a three dimensional underwater world. We stared back at iguanas. We coped with adverse weather, groundings, mechanical breakdowns, health worries, and a bout with the Gulf Stream.

We rescued an octopus.

This stunning necklace was handstrung and knotted here at Harvest Gold, and is made of round beads of eye clean pink and green tourmaline. The knots holding the beads in place are hidden beneath 14k yellow gold beads, which while utilitarian, give the necklace a striking final appearance! The necklace is 19 1/2" long, and the clasp is a traditional lobster clasp.

This stunning 31ct tricolored Maine is set in a handmade 14K setting. Known as a watermelon slice, this tourmaline was mined in Maine. The setting has a 14K gold backing, so the tourmaline will shimmer no matter what is behind it. It measures 4mm high, including the bail, 3mm across, and approximately 0.5 mm thick.
